Chesapeake Model Fire Engineers

The Chesapeake Model Fire Engineers (CMFE) is an organization, located (but not limited to) the Baltimore Metro area, of Fire Buffs and collectors. Members collections include all aspects of the Fire Service. Current membership is 75, including several out-of-state members. Meetings are usually the 3rd Friday of the month except for July, August, & December. June & September's meetings are club picnics. Meetings are held in local firehouses and member's homes. The CMFE also publishes a quarterly newsletter Fully Involved which highlights new apparatus in the area, Modeling tips, as well as models displayed at our shows.

U. S. Botanic Garden, West Gallery, 100 Maryland Avenue, SW, Washington, DC. The U.S. Botanic Garden's train and plant display this year will be "Windows to Wonderland". The display will be all indoors, in the East Gallery, but is designed so that it can be seen from the outside when the Conservatory is closed.
